After over eight years of training Marcello Alcantar received the highly coveted rank of Black Belt personally from Alexandre Ribeiro.  Alexandre ( Xande ) surprised Marcello by calling his name for promotion in front of a packed class line up.  Marcello was obviously emotional while Xande explained to the class what is required to be a Black Belt in the Ribeiro jiu-Jitsu Association and the importance of it.

Looking forward to the future Marcello is looking forward to competing at the Black Belt level and continuing to pass on the gift of Jiu-Jitsu to his Bushido family.  Congratulations Marcello!
